• “RPT” stands for “Registered Piano Technician“.
• This designation is conferred by a national USA organization called PTG, or Piano Technicians Guild.
PTG is recognized world-wide as the leading examination authority for Piano Technology and Piano Technicians, and as a provider of continuing education in Piano Technology through multiple, year-round venues through its main office in Kansas City, Kansas, and its many Chapters located throughout the USA.RPTs are also the teachers of Piano Technology for PTG.

•The PTG Website is available to the Public for questions and research about pianos, their care and maintenance, piano technology, and piano history; multiple levels of information, as well as products and books and services are all available to the public through the on-line store.
