About Starting Service For Your Piano:
Any piano that is new to a technician must be inspected in person before actual work can be done – We have to determine the piano’s true physical condition, as well as discuss how you plan to use your piano, what your expectations are for it, and choose the type of tuning needed to best serve your situation.
Most of the time a piano can take and hold a tuning immediately – Other times, however, an owner must be told if preparation work has to be done to the piano first to avoid waste of tuning expense, or damage to piano.

If the inspection shows that your piano is capable of being tuned right now, the tuning work can begin immediately. But, when preparation work is needed first, this will be explained so you can make decisions.
Cost of this Start Service Inspection alone is $79 — This fee is credited back to any actual work done on the piano, whether done now or later for tuning or for repair —
A separate charge is made only when actual piano work is to be done at a later date.
